Accessibility
This site is designed to WCAG 2.1 AA. The practices below are built into every page of this site.
- Keyboard operation
- Navigation, the mobile menu, accordions, forms and tracking all work with the keyboard alone. The mobile menu traps focus, closes on Escape and returns focus to the control that opened it.
- Visible focus
- Every interactive element shows a 3px red focus ring at 2px offset, on white and on navy. Focus is never removed or replaced by a colour change alone.
- Touch targets
- Navigation, CTA links and form controls hold a 44px minimum target at compact and tablet widths.
- Reduced motion
- With reduced motion enabled in your system settings, transitions collapse and the carrier strip becomes a static grid. No meaning is carried by animation alone.
- Structure and text
- One H1 per page, descriptive headings and links, meaningful alt text on informative images and empty alt on decorative ones. Status messages in tracking and forms are announced to assistive technology and persist on the page.
- Contrast
- Body text, navigation and controls meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast on their backgrounds. Red is never used for body text.
